The Contented House Project sets up a secure online space for each shared house.
Each space behaves like a small version of Facebook, a private "Micro Social Network" just for the owners of the house.
This social network allows owners to contribute to forums, add photos. conduct polls, set events and store documents with optional email notifications for each new posting.
This service is entirely free, and owners can only become participants by invitation.
Bolted on to the social network is an optional interface that enables communication between a "Lite Managing Agent" and the owners, so that all the elements of managing a property beyond repairs, cleaning, decorating and cleaning etc, are catered for.
These wil include

- Health & safety compliance.
- Legal
- Project management.
- Access to "trusted" lawyers, surveyors and other professional services.
These services will be provided for a modest monthly fee, (but additional fees will be payable for legal or surveying services etc.) .
Why is having your own secure shared space so important?
Management of any property involves storage of documents such as leases, contracts, insurance policies, budgets, and contacts. It is essential that access to these documents does not rely on one individual who could sell, fall out with fellow owners, or worse still "fall off their perch".
Many of these documents will be needed to sell, or remortgage, so an online filing system with shared access provides both reliability and sustainability.

It's easy. It just needs one owner to register with our project. They will automatically have administrator rights which enables them to invite fellow owners
